Harley Sportster Dyna
Sportster 1200N (nightster) or Dyna Low Rider?
OK, I've made up my mind to get a Harley.....I really like the suede blue nightster, but would consider the Dyna Low rider in the same color. Which handles better? Particularly in the slow speed parking lot situations, lol.
JetDoc....not much...I guess I really was wanting to know which was better balanced at slower speed manuvers. I haven't ridden real top heavy or heavy Motorcycles before. My heaviest ride was a 750 Kawasaki Vulcan.
I bought 2008 Dyna Low Rider today....It is heavier, but it felt really balanced. I even balanced it with "no feet". I will worry about the extra throttle and weight when I start riding. I'll be taking it easy for a while, but I think I will be happier in the long run. Thanks to all, and keep posting I may not be the only one wondering about this same topic, happy riding to all.
you will find the sporty is lighter and easier to maneuver when you are pushing it in and out of parking space, garage, etc. It doesn't ride as well as low rider but it is quicker and more nimble at sudden maneuvers.
There are several ladies in my group who ride their own bikes. A few love their sportsters and a few have switched to Dynas.
