Rear Seat Pillion
Can you remove the pillion and passenger pegs from a Honda Shadow VLX 600?
I have recently purchased a used 1998 Honda Shadow VLX 600 deluxe. I have not yet had the chance to bring it home but I was wondering whether it would be easy to remove the passenger seat and pegs from the bike? Would there be holes in the fender or anything unsightly like that if I were to do so?
Why don't I want the pillion or rear pegs? Well I don't ever plan on using them and my personality dictates that if I don't need it, its got to go. Gonna get rid of the back rest and windshield too.
Any advice on pillion removal would be great. Thanks!
The seat is one piece, you can't remove the pillion.
The rear pegs can be removed but not the mount.
