2002 Harley D road king with 65,000 snapped my 5th belt what could cause this problem?

my mechanic says that gravel did not cause these belts to break and there is no wear on the sides of any of the broken belts. He also says that it is not possible for this to happen from a factory defect in some of the motorcycle. the bike is not modified but for a gear driven cam.since the breaking of the third belt I have not been diving it hard because i am afraid I will break another belt I have no confidence in this bike anymore.
I would also like to note that after recieving a few of your that FIRST belt had apartial slit init at 10,000 I had it replaced. SECOND belt broke at 55,000 then drove it to N. Carolina broke another H.D. DEALERSHIP replaced belt drove home my mechanic replaced just the pullys then trailered to Daytona 60 miles in broke another belt it was replaced by H.D. DEALERSHIP then within 2500 miles I broke another.

I also think they may be setting the tension wrong.
First belt damaged at 10,000 and replaced, that's ok.
Second belt at 55,000, that's ok. By now the pulleys have worn.
Running a new belt on worn pulleys could cause it to fail.
Home to NC was how far?
Stressed belt (run on worn pulleys) failed in 60 miles, understandable, but still... it should have lasted longer.
New belt (on almost new pulleys) failed at 2500 miles, hmmmm.

I had belt and pulley problems myself on my '06 Superglide.
I suggest you find a good (non-dealership) mechanic.
Inspect both pulleys for even the smallest defect.
Check alignment, both chassis and drivetrain.
Go to an aftermarket belt. I'm currently running a BDL (Belt Drives Ltd.) made by Gates.
