Harley Clutch for the 2007 883r Sportster?
Hi Vtwin_doc you were telling me to use the barnett clutch for the 2007 sportster.The question i have is that their are two clutches with the extra plate one is the carbon fiber and the other is kevlar which one do u recomend and also where can i get the tool to compress the clutch spring.

Both clutches are very good, but I personally prefer the carbon fiber. You can get both the clutch set and the spring compressor (Jim's Tools) from Drag Specialties. Instuctions come with both, but jst a note, you will need to soak the clutch friction plates in the Primary/Trans Oil for about 15 minutes before installing and pay close attention to the edges of all the plates, they are stamped, edges on side are smooth, other side sharp, make sure all the plate get installed in the same direction, Force of habit for me, I install smooth side out.
