Chrome Shifter Peg
what should my 1st bike be?
I have been looking at the Yamaha V Star Silverado and a Honda Shadow Sabre. Both bikes are brand new and are the same price. The Yamaha is 650cc and comes with a windshield, saddle bags, sissy bar, footboards, and a heel toe shifter. The Honda is 1100cc and not my favorite color, and has chrome pegs and doesn't have a heel shifter. This is my first bike but I have ridden bike before.
I have a 2005 Yamaha V-Star 650 custom and I love it. My advice to you is, get the bike your MOST COMFORTABLE ON! And you should also know, heel-toe shifter are often more pain in the calves of your legs then their worth. The V-star can move me (165 lbs.) up to 90 mph, so it has enough power to cruise the highways if your concerned about engine size.
